The Balga to Boab Aboriginal Youth Leadership program is community driven and evolved out of desire to develop strong young Aboriginal leaders whilst young people are still at school. Through consultation with Aboriginal communities the goal is to expose young people to another culture and observe attitudes of school students in Siem Reap where education is not taken for granted nor is it a right but rather a privilege. The Balga and Boab trees have spiritual significance and represent strength, life, growth, being well rounded and resilience. All qualities to develop in this initiative.

Many want to combine travel with cultural or learning experiences. That’s how Bookshop Travel was born, and for the past 6 years we have been delivering unique, sometimes life changing, learning experiences.”
